nexVortex has expanded its geographic redundancy northward by entering into a peering agreement with US Signal.
The company has installed and created a VoIP point of presence in a US Signal data center in Oakbrook, Ill. This direct peering relationship adds another access point and interconnection for nexVortex’s SIP Trunking service. The partnership also means that US Signal customers’ VoIP traffic transits directly from US Signal’s network to nexVortex’s network on its way to the PSTN, thereby eliminating the multiple hops through the public internet that can induce delay and packet loss which degrade voice quality.
