Strategic Project Manager
Lita manages strategic project for nexVortex. Her responsibilities include managing development of new products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to manage and execute projects, analyze product portfolio to ensure alignment with strategic decisions. Provides leadership and strategic direction in the project management, planning, design, engineering, and implementation of cost effective products and services. Reporting directly to the COO, she is responsible for short, medium and long-range strategic and tactical network projects and planning, special projects and initiatives.
Prior experience include telecommunication project manager at Cisco Systems for six years where she managed product development from production to manufacturing phase while working closely with engineering, marketing, hardware vendors and system integrators to ensure successful deployment. She has also lead teams on beta implementation of software and hardware utilization in telecommunications systems, including supervision of technical staff.
While at Cisco Systems, she has worked on projects for Pathnet, MetTel, Bell Atlantic, Sprint, Time Warner Cable to name a few. She is LEED, AP Certified by U.S. Green Building Council; holds Project Management Institute certification (PMI).
Lita holds a master’s degree from George Washington University with a focus on Entrepreneurship & Project Management and a BS in International Business and Political Science from Albright College.
